SA World Cup

Adidas has done a major feat, beating out its sporting competitors such as Nike, Puma and Kappa in getting the account for providing the official match ball for the upcoming FIFA World Cup to be held in South Africa starting June 11.

The ball is called "Jabulani" and it incorporates 11 different colors on the ball, which represent the 11 players on the field for each team. It is the 11th official Adidas World Cup match ball. There are 11 official languages in South Africa among the country’s 11 tribes.
The ball can be used as incredible marketing tool, and it will be. Millions of people in South Africa and the world will be watching the most prestigious tournament in the world and the world's best players with this ball. The last world cup in Germany 2006 Adidas has sold approximately 15 million of the last version of the ball worldwide and sales are expected to increase this time around.

What Tiger needs to do

Sports Marketing expert Michael Neuman discusses with a Fox panel on how Tiger Woods can keep on going without misses a step.
Neuman agrees (and so do I) that going the Oprah route with Tiger Woods appearing with his wife would be a good thing, showing that the couple is working on the marriage despite the transgressions that were made.
Tiger should also try and stay out of the limelight (which Neuman mentions as well) and wait and let the story become old news and blow over. Using the scandal could be benieficial i think, sports men with high calibre such as woods are general cast as iconic, this scandal can be used to humanize him, look at it like this, a regular guy who is incredibly rich who is very good at playing golf, who makes mistakes for whatever reason just let like every other guy in his situation.

Who will win the Barclays Premier League title 09 10 season

I am an avid Manchester United fan, so my views are more biased towards the team. but realistically speaking United is threat to win the premiership for yet another season, they are up against a scalding hot Chelsea FC team who arguably has the players in the forward, midfield and maybem just maybe the defense money can buy who are also currently holding down the number 1 spot. Manchester United (second place) has the winners mentality and the team still has veteran leadership from Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville (who were also members of the historic treble winning team of 99) and young leadership from Wayne Rooney, not to mention other vets such as Michael Owen (coming off a hat trick in the champions league against Wolfsburg) and Dimitar Berbatov.
The season is still young, all the teams are still trying to smooth out all the rust. I'm not worried United should have this in the bag by season end
